Well, didn't go to Santa Fe after all. It was snowing there this morning, so will try for Saturday. It worked out well we didn't go. I was able to be a judge at the declamation contest at the local elementary school. Declamation has the children memorize a poem or story and then present it. Props are allowed and sometimes the presentations are great. My children and grand children have all participated in this, I had a great time as a judge. Lynn & Niki (my grand daughters) attend a different elementary than the one I was judge at. 🙂
