Hi all, we have been having hot, humid dog days, typical Aug weather. Tonight we are supposed to get into a couple of days of thunderstorms which will break the heat wave.We are all ready to hear the sound of rain. Business is slow as usual at this time of year. I'm using the time to get some overdue jobs done around the house. September is starting to look very busy in the family and at church so I am trying to enjoy an easy schedule while I can.

Carl- We have a showcase at a local Antique Mall. It's in a pretty good location for antiques and on a main highway. We took a few things out a couple of days ago and there wasn't an empty spot. On the other hand, a mall where we used to sell was so slow that we sold almost nothing and had to pack up and go. Hard to know why one is doing well and the other isn't. They seem comparable as far as I can see.
