Glass Chatroom Board

@1citydude: I've always liked big kitchens. When my sisters & I were growing up, my grandfather's & my uncles farmhouses all had big kitchens. Aunts, uncles & cousins were in & out of them all the time and they were gathering places. And, they needed big kitchens because at harvest time they had to prepare meals for all the harvest crews as well as family. So, just kind of got accustomed to large kitchens. One of the things I liked about this place when I bought it. The kitchen, including the small pantry room, is 14 feet by 24 feet. Almost 20 feet of counter space & a total of 25 cabinets & 8 drawers. Also has a large bay window. Big job to renovate it, but we're pacing ourselves & having fun doing it. Will hopefully have the painting & cabinet refinishing done by the end of this week. Then we'll take a break for 2 or 3 weeks & then tackle the new countertops. The new flooring will likely wait until next spring.
