Sharon: Jim is right. My Son is the Maintenance supervisor for a a large lawn maintenance company. He buys trimmers by the hundreds. When they don't work, he throws them in the dumpster, even though he has a small engine mechanic on payroll. They are usually not worth fixing,especially with the gas junk we are being sold that gums up everything if you let it set in a tank for a long time
