Yay! I figured out how to do my avatar. It's my Becky Brown owl person and it is a reminder to stop and smell the flowers 🙂
I submitted my dog head toothpick to Greentown Glass in the hopes that they can tell me definitively whether it's theirs or not. Free ID on their pieces and they'll even throw in a free estimate as well. Fingers crossed it is!
Bill my what beautiful glass you have! Congrats on your great sales!
Reen that covered jar you have in your group shot of glass (left side) is EAPG and called "Art" or "Jacob's Tears" made by Adams & Co. circa 1889 and US Glass in 1891. There were three jars made: a hotel and table covered sugar and a biscuit jar. The biscuit jar is the larger one, but unfortunately, my book doesn't give the sizes, but does show them next to each other. They were made in clear and clear w/ruby stain. Ruby stained pieces were made later, so are all attributed to US Glass. I too have an "Art" jar and just adore the pattern. It's also one of the EAPG patterns that hasn't been widely reproduced, so the only chance you have of getting a reproduction is currently limited to a covered compote on a high standard.
