Morning, Kids! So glad I found you guys here 🙂 I don't know that anyone knows much about me, so a few facts...I'm 47, a widowed mom to 3 amazing kids & in another short month, a grandma. My late husband, Leo, was a farm machinery jockey& bought used farm machinery at auction for resale. We farmed 160 acres, had cattle, chickens, pigs...I had a greenhouse & a vegetable business for 15 years. I continued to operate the farm for two years after he passed but soon realized it would be the death of me as well, so I sold it & I moved the kids to Bloomington, Indiana to a better school. I needed a way to support us, so I used all that auction experience (from buying farm machinery) & started buying linens & making pillows then selling on eBay under the name Stuff-n-Things. My daughter (my oldest) has a masters degree (but still can't get a job in her field) & both my boys are still in college. I met my honey, Mr. Jon, when I sold him a toy truck on eBay. He asked for local pickup & the rest is history. He's my best friend, the love of my life & the packing department here at The Treasure Port. We're seriously contemplating opening a brick & mortar store because eBay & all the associated fees are eating us alive & I have no desire to work at a fast food place 🙂 That's my life in a nutshell 🙂
