@abzoid Toby, maybe there were two people who are sorry they didn't bid on the bowl you won. Good for the seller.
@carma We have the same weather situation here in NJ -- very little rain (a few showers overnight) and brush fires throughout the state. As we also had almost no snow melt (our only big snowstorm was back in October), all of the rivers and streams are low. This is frustrating members of the kayak & canoe club I belong to -- this is usually the time of year when they paddle various of the rivers that are only passable in the spring. This year the levels are too low and they have to keep changing the location of their trips. As DH paddles in the Hudson River and on lakes, it's not bothering him (and as soon as I ditch this cold, I'll be joining him).
