I recently had vertigo. Dr. said a microscopic bit of calcium was floating around and was touching the tiny bones in the inner ear. He taught me a quick little tip to help ease and sometime stop a mild attack. You take your pointer finger and rub little circles just behind your earlobe on the side the vertigo affected you and it will soon let up. My was always on the right side. Hope this helps.

Shelly - the glasses were at a garage sale and I didn't buy them. I forgot to take my phone so couldn't take picture.

JimL - absolutely gorgeous flowers. Do you sit out in the evenings relaxing and watching the world go by?

Fran2 - the pieces were small, glasses maybe 4" tall, cups 3" and plates 4" rounded square. I d think they were plates not saucers.

gabla - thanks for trying. I use to be psychic. I knew the sex of my grandchildren, my
son-in-law's sister's baby, and two friend's baby, just after their moms were
pregnant. I also knew something terrible was going to happen to my best friend
two days before she was in a car accident in which she was badly hurt. I did tell
tell her to be careful. I no longer am psychic or have ESP since my friend was
hurt.

Shelly - thanks for looking.

Gail - what a lovely bed cover. It just makes you feel good by looking at all those bright
colors, and I know it makes you feel proud to see what you accomplished.

Hello everyone,

I saw some pink depression glass at a yard sale yesterday that I cannot identify. They are not in any of my books (5), and I have looked online until my eyes are bloodshot.
I hope one of you grand glasses can help me.

I did not buy them and don't have pictures, here is the description.

The glass is plain, but there is a narrow band around the top, within the band are tiny ovals set at a angle, inside each oval are 2 diagonal slashes.

Thanks for any help,

Hello All,

Still here! It's 13* and sunny here. We have about 3" of snow on the ground with about 1" of ice underneath. We had 7" of snow a couple of days ago until the freezing rain came.

Yesterday was daughters 40th birthday. They live 18 miles north of me. Family is going out to dinner Saturday. My best friend said that soon our kids will be older than we are!

Called daughter to wish her a happy birthday. She said granddaughter had an interview with recruiter from the CIA. No, not that one, the Culinary Institute of America. Granddaughter is very interested in going there after she graduates.

Need to get a few things done: clean off car, put down salt on steps and sidewalk, go to store, etc.

Will be back later to read and see everyone's pretties.

Julie thanks,

The one you show looks like it has a bit of amber in the yellow and the one I have has a stronger quilted design and more geometric.

I have looked at all the Empoli and Rossini I can find online. I didn't find my shape, but I did find identical copies a couple of pieces from Indiana Glass, and some Blenko.

Thank you Julie.
I have always thought the bottles looked like Blenko especially because of the yellow color, but never found this shape. I looked thru the Empoli website, saw a couple of pieces that looked like things I had in the past.

Did Empoli buy Blenko? I looked at Blenko's history and didn't see the name Empoli mentioned and vise versa. Much of their glass looks alike.

Hello Glassies,

I haven't been here in ages. No excuse, life just gets in the way.

I would like someone to identify this bottle that is up for auction. I know you don't comment on active auctions, and this one will be ending in just a bit over 5 hours. So if anyone can help me after the auction is over I would appreciate it.

161578488185 Yellow Art Glass Bottle 18"

I have had two of these bottles for over 13 years and have not been able to find anything about them.

Thanks in advance,
