He was not ill nor in pain and went very quickly. I'll be keeping his account open while we sort through all the glass in this house in case advice is needed.

Thank you all for the friendship you gave my dad.

Good Morning. The big dig out of the East Coast is bout over, all except for the shouting and investigations that will be done to justify why the highways dept was unable to handle a little 30 inch snowstorm without drifting or power loss. Answer ..inadequate equipment to handle major storm and untrained, untried personnel. I thought that the city of Baltimore who could not clear the streets for a week, were busy citing the residents for not clearing the sidewalks. instituted a cruel joke. That is what 75 years of single party rule can do for you.

Everyone stay safe and dry. Soon we will see Spring and this mess will be a dim memory.

Good morning everyone. Waking up poverty stricken as before since i didn't win the Power ball Lottery.

Sorry about everyone experiencing poor weather. I am happy that I live in a temperate zone. Mostly it is humidity which we can moderate with air conditioning. I don't want to jinx it, but we have had the least cold weather this year. In fact, we turned the air conditioning on Christmas day when it got too hot and humid in the house with the large family crowd. Don't want any of that stuff that Carl has had to sand and shovel Brrrr.

All the stockings are hung by the chimney with care We have had sixty to seventy degree temperatures lately. Hope everyone has a enjoyable season.

You can get rid if The Win 10 notification box by deleting it in he action and notifications section.but it will reappear the next time you boot. Sorry to say that if you are serious the registry must be edited to dump it.. not a recommenced thing to do for the average user, so you just get used to it and don't mistakenly click it. Windows 10 is like a good ice storm. it has the same affect for computer repair guys.and body and fender guy... lots of business I have a ton of time invested and i still don't have my DVD working despite dumping and reinstalling the whole mess. you cannot imagine how much data that I put in peril I really think that I would have been better off buying a new machine (laptop) May have been cheaper and I still would have my time..JimD

Carl: The last time that i was in Maine was somewhere around h last week in September. We traveled through Vermont, new Hampshire, and Maine, and into Canada finally ending in the Laurentian mountains. then spent a week in Boston. The weather was gorgeous and the trees were spectacular A month would probably do lot to improve that. Our tree color is retarded by a lot of water and temperate weather. We take it when we get it Thank heavens that Congress cannot control it.

For those interested; I downloaded Widows 10 on one of my computers and installed it on my Laptop which I use mostly for internet stuff. If you feel comfortable in messing around with the settings it is for you. If you think you will get into trouble messing round your settings stay away from it. First it installs Windows version of a new browser and you have to import bookmarks and settings .,or you have to get rid of their defaults. even to the point of having to jump through hoops to get rid of Bing which is jammed in to replace Google. Sooo... Windows 10 looks like a mess. Way to go Microsoft. Unless you ae lonely and desperate to use a lot of free time it is not for most people. I don't think that I will give it to my wife. I don't have that much time.
Don't remember gas prices because my girlfriend 's father owned a gas station. I don't remember ever buying gas. I never told anyone because I didn't want to lose her to another suitor Learned to drive on a farm at age 14 with a two ton truck.
