Carl, I am so sorry to hear about Sue...I didn't know she had been suffering from MS. Horrible disease. For years she was such an asset to so many of us, with her knowledge of glass.

It took me a while to find my way back into this site. It has been a very long time so I have a lot of reading to do to catch up.

It has been ages since I've listed anything on ebay. It seems like China has taken over in so many of the Ebaay categories I've looked at... I have become a big time Amazon Prime shopper for almost everything. I very seldom go to stores and my UPS driver calls me his 1-a-day stop as he can count on stopping here almost every day.

We are still in Arkansas and living in the house we built in 2009. I have spent a lot of time in the last 2 years helping son with his FB page he built..."Backyard BBQ Heroes". He was off work for almost a year when a forklift at work hit him and sheared his rotator cuff. He started the page due to boredom and it has bloomed. Last night he had 3,999 members and we were all watching for that 4,000th member...lol. He has some Pro-Q'rs who have joined and have been so much help to the newbies and everyone else. They as have some great sponsors who give some nice prizes to the members involved in the contests. It is a great bunch of people who like to cook and share their masterpieces and some of their flops too. I love seeing some of the people in the North East BBQ'g in the snow..

To keep me occupied, I recently became an Avon Lady. In the past, I've only bought Mascara from my niece but she passed away last year so a couple of months ago I thought what the heck and became an Avon Lady..I was so surprised at all of the things I saw in the first catalog that came in my Kit..

Gail Luv your new "do". My dil is going thru the new "do" thing too. Looks so cute and love the "wash 'n wear" thing too.

I upgraded my pc's to Win10. One from Win XP and the other from Win 7. So far no problems. All the peripheral stuff is working..ie printer, Dymo stamp printer, cameras router etc.

George I use Paint Shop Pro 8 for photo editing and it is pretty easy with good results..

Finished Christmas shopping for the 5 great-grandkids yesterday and the rest will be getting checks.. Planning to eat out for Thanksgiving at the same restaurant we ate at last Thanksgiving. We all enjoyed it..other than that all's quiet here..

Shelly..I doubt if we would ever move to Branson as it is only 70 miles from where we live. We live on the White River and enjoy the quiet here. Would hate to give that up. I'm sure Branson keeps the roads open when it snows and usually don't get a lot of it at any one time..probably like us...6-8" year. And yes, I like casinos. Love to play on the Crap table and BlackJack.

I quit once b/4 using Nicorette gum. Quit for 3 yrs. then got mad about something and grabbed a smoke. That was all it took and I was back at 2 pks/day. I know one thing..nagging a smoker will not work. They will quit when they get ready. I finally go so upset with all of the taxes I was paying on cigarettes and that was all it took. I just quit cold turkey. I kept a pack of opened cigarettes next to my computer for 2 1/2 yrs and never took one out. I knew if I did I would have to quit all over and I wasn't paying one penny more in taxes than I had to, Dumb but it worked for me. My friends are still surprised I quit. They never thought I'd do it.Good luck to your husband.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it here but Betty Kirk/sjells has been in the hospital. She has emphysema and is now in a rehab/nursing home to get her meds/breathing improved and get her up and moving around. She has been in bed for several months unable to get around. She is very weak.
