Now a sort of glass question. The estate Im working on has a gorgeous Meridian silver cruet set with ruby glass bottles. Problem is the silver has been re-plated and looks like brand new, how badly does that affect the value?

I am not sure about posting pictures here but will try for a psychic id on a set of clear glass bowls I have in the estate sale I am working on right now
They are mixing bowls and graduate in size from normal down to almost a salt cellar size, I didn't count but guess there are 7 or 8 graduated bowls, the mark is like an anchor with an h but nothing like these in my Anchor Hocking book and have never seen a set like this before

Shelly, like Gail said that hood ornament is being discussed to death on facebook. The gal that appraised it was wrong to say sun purple was worth more. Another Lalique expert chime in and said $2000 either clear or purpled is the value.

Gail, don't give up hope of feeling normal again. I am a 7 year survivor now and can say I feel normal, just 7 years older, LOL The only thing that does happen for awhile is questioning every ache and pain.

When I went through it my Chemo sessions were 6 hours every third week. and 1 hour infusions of Herceptin every week for a year. I took my Iphone (no ipad then) books, water, nibbles and occasionally also fell asleep. You might need a sweater but the chemo center usually has blankets. Drink lots of water and stay hydrated. Im sure you will do fine.

I had one of those chemical stress tests last year, awful and when they made me sign the consent that said I could die during the test, I almost told them what they could do with it. I have no heart problems but do have Afib so I guess that is why he wanted to check.
