I know I don't post very often , but I do read the board often ...Thanks for all the birthday wishes , but I really don't feel any older. Well ....... some days I do LOL .
Carl ..I love to read about whats going on in your neck of the woods . Love to read about your snow especially , which we really don't see here . Love all the pictures you show too . I do understand you missing Emma more . I think all grandparents have one they are a bit closer to.
Your temps are far better than here in east Texas. It is so hot and humid every day , I mostly do not want to get out . We need rain so badly and it seems to rain all around us , but still misses us by a couple miles.
We only have cucumbers in the garden .Fig tree is producing so much , now I have to find someone to take them . I have made a lot of strawberry preserves , which we love . Its even good on ice cream..... We can a lot each year, but not so much this year. We have a farm down the road where we picked blueberries and blackberries, so have a good supply of those .
Hope everyone has a wonderful productive day..... Guess I need to start mine.

I need to finish my coffee and start getting ready for some GS's... Going back to the same place today ,as they are suppose to bring out more . Bought 29 pieces ,sterling crown princess silverware for almost nothing. Would you believe $10 ?

Gail ...they should have given you two blue ribbons for your coverlet . You do awesome work ...I crochet , but nothing like that . Work awaits , so best get up and start..

Katie ...glad your family is ok . I love cypress trees...We are having the huge oak tree cut in a day or two .I sure will miss it . The huge limbs go over my house , low at that ..... Thank goodness no baby squirrels in the four nests , way up high . I am having them to leave the stump , table top size. I have a round glass top to go on it , so
I will feed the squirrels and birds there. I might paint a scene on it also .

Wish we would get some rain .....Weather man says 30% tomorrow , we'll see ! We have to water every morning and that is getting old .

Carl , love your kitchen colors ...If I were you, I would ask Google , how to remove wallpaper ...You might already know , but I would not have a clue ...I don't know how we did without Google all those years lol . Love it !! It will even show you how to repair a washer .
Love to read about everyone's day..... now back to the drawing board ..housework ,that is !

Julie ... I saw the fires on good morning America. Hope you are safe. We have burn bans , but it does not stop some people. A while back , one got out of control and burned 40 acres here in east Texas. Three very old houses that no one lived in , but now the memories are gone. The fire Marshall fined her only $500 , but said the home owners could sue if they want too.
Hubby is busy packing the trailer with a couple tents and stuff to set up for the Highway 80 garage sale , from Dallas to Arkansas.It might go farther than that . Friday & Saturday, now if the rain just stays away .
